Grace Girvan was born and brought up in the Orkney Islands. In the late nineties Grace moved to Edinburgh to study jewellery and silversmithing, and now lives and works on the coast of Fife, creating her jewellery.

Although Grace no longer lives on Orkney, she regularly visits. During these times Grace collects and studies objects found on the Island's shorelines. The pebbles that Grace finds often feature in her pieces, giving them a beautifully distinctive feel.
