Straight Razor Necklace
Cut-throat style handcrafted to mimic a traditional straight razor, but we promise it's too dull to cut. The ornate decorations are hand engraved, featuring the classic all-seeing eye and lightning bolt, as well as decorative paisley patterns combined with Japanese-inspired designs. The reverse of the blade reads "New York City" to mark where it hails from. Did you know? For hundreds of years before the modern razor, the straight razor blade was the principal means of shaving for the civilized gent. Shaving began about 60,000 years ago with sharpened obsidian and clam shells, but beards and barbers have certainly evolved from there. We hope. The charm hangs on a 30 inch long brass ball chain.
